Connect Box+Dice

Connect Box+Dice for one workspace with your agency API key, send a client-pays check from a contact, and keep the status on the verification.

Updated 14 October 2026

You connect Box+Dice for one workspace. You paste the API key from that office group. FreeAML stores it on the server. You do not see it again.

This connection stays turned off until Box+Dice is switched on for FreeAML. The legacy API uses a key you create for an office group. The address must be the https site Box+Dice gives you, such as https://your-office.boxdice.com.au. Box+Dice describes that key in [Troubleshoot API errors](https://helpcenter.boxdice.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/12857373680143-Troubleshoot-API-s-errors).

A second mode exists for MRI partners. It uses the [GraphQL API](https://helpcenter.boxdice.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/15193511546383-GraphQL-API-Changelog). That mode needs an MRI partner project. FreeAML does not call it yet, because Box+Dice has not published the history-note request.

Connect the workspace

  1. 1

  2. 2

    Open Integrations.

  3. 3

Under Box+Dice, enter the https address and the API key.

  4. 4

    Select Connect Box+Dice.

Send a check

  1. 1

Search a contact by name or email.

  2. 2

Enter your client’s email and a reference. You do not enter their identity details. If the contact has an email, it is filled in and you can change it.

  3. 3

Choose a service charge of $0, $25, $50, or $100. That amount is for this verification only.

  4. 4

Select Create verification. Your client pays. An individual check is $20. A company, trust, or SMSF check is $40. Your client chooses which one on the link and enters their own details.

  5. 5

The service charge, when you add one, is paid to this workspace.

Box+Dice’s Website API names a contact note, and the GraphQL changelog names CommentCreate. Neither page publishes the request itself, so FreeAML does not send a note or a report file. The status stays on the verification. FreeAML still gives you a webhook address. MRI can point the partner project at it. Those messages only say which collections changed. They do not carry the contact.

Can one Box+Dice key see every workspace I belong to?

No. Start the connection while that workspace is open.

Where does the report go?

To the email of the person who created the verification.
