Payouts and billing

Set your service charge

On a client-pays check you can add $0, $25, $50, or $100. Your client pays it on top of the $20 or $40 verification. You withdraw it after your bank is connected.

A service charge is optional money your client pays on top of the verification, on a Client pays check. You choose it on New Verification, under Your service charges. The tooltip says: add your service charges on top of the verification cost. Your client pays the total, you receive your charges as payout.

The choices are $0, $25, $50, and $100.

Pick a service charge before you send. $0 means your client pays only the verification price.

Add a charge

  1. 1

Open New Verification and leave Client pays selected. Service charges apply to client-pays checks.

  2. 2

    Open Your service charges.

  3. 3

    Select $0, $25, $50, or $100.

  4. 4

Read the helper. For a charge above $0 it says you earn that amount, and you withdraw once your bank is connected. For $0 it says Free for you. Charged to your client.

  5. 5

If you expand the breakdown, the line is Client pays for Verification Charges + Your Service charges plus the amount + Platform charges plus the platform amount.

  6. 6

Send the verification. You do not need a bank connected before you send.

Platform charges shown with those tiers are $10 on a $25 service charge, $20 on $50, and $30 on $100. Your client pays the verification price ($20 KYC or $40 KYB), your service charge, and that platform charge. You earn the service charge, not the platform charge.

If your bank is not connected yet, you may see You can earn now — add bank details later to withdraw. The button is Add bank details to withdraw. You can ignore it and still send. Connect the bank when you want to withdraw. See Connect your bank.

Can I type my own amount?

No. The form offers $0, $25, $50, and $100 only.

When do I get the money?

It is credited to your FreeAML balance when your client pays. Withdrawing to a bank needs the bank connection on Payouts.
