Connect BGL

Connect Simple Fund 360 or CAS 360 with BGL sign-in, send a client-pays entity check, and upload the report PDF as a document.

Updated 14 October 2026

You connect BGL for one workspace. FreeAML stores the BGL refresh token on the server. You do not see it again.

This connection uses BGL sign-in. It stays turned off until FreeAML has a BGL app. BGL asks you to test on staging, then email api@bglcorp.com.au for production. You also sign their API agreement, complete their security questionnaire, and show them the connection. The public guide is the [BGL API](https://docs.api.bgl360.com.au/).

Connect the workspace

  1. 1

  2. 2

    Open Integrations.

  3. 3

Under BGL, select Connect with BGL.

  4. 4

Sign in on BGL’s page and approve access.

  5. 5

You return to Integrations. The label is the account id BGL returned. Copy the webhook address and give it to BGL so they can register document messages.

Send a check

  1. 1

Search an entity by name or email. A Simple Fund 360 entity, a CAS 360 company, and a CAS 360 trust can all appear.

  2. 2

Enter your client’s email and a reference. You do not enter their identity details. If the entity has an email, it is filled in and you can change it.

  3. 3

Choose a service charge of $0, $25, $50, or $100. That amount is for this verification only.

  4. 4

Select Create verification. Your client pays. An individual check is $20. A company, trust, or SMSF check is $40. Your client chooses which one on the link and enters their own details.

  5. 5

The service charge, when you add one, is paid to this workspace.

When the check is complete or has failed, FreeAML uploads the report PDF. A Simple Fund 360 entity uses the audit document upload. A company or trust gets a document record, then the PDF as an attachment. The same status is uploaded once. BGL can also post a document change to the webhook address. FreeAML answers with the message BGL publishes for an accepted request.

Can one BGL connection see every workspace I belong to?

No. Start the connection while that workspace is open.

Where does the report go?

To the email of the person who created the verification, and to the entity document when the upload succeeds.
