Install the Chrome extension
Sign in with an email code, choose the sites FreeAML can read, and send a check from the page.
Updated 12 October 2026
You can see verification status beside email addresses on sites you allow, and send a check without leaving the page. The extension follows the account you sign in with. One connection is for one workspace.
Install
- 1
Open the FreeAML listing in the Chrome Web Store and select Add to Chrome.
- 2
Pin FreeAML so you can open it from the toolbar.
- 3
Open the FreeAML icon.
FreeAML does not run on every site you visit. You choose each site, and Chrome asks you to allow it.
- 1
Enter the email you use on FreeAML.
- 2
Enter the code from that email. You sign in with an email code.
- 3
If you belong to more than one workspace, choose the workspace this browser should use.
The connection is stored as a hash. It expires after 90 days, or sooner if you sign out. A sign-in grant lasts 10 minutes and works once.
Choose your sites
- 1
In the extension, add a site such as abc.com. That covers abc.com and its subdomains.
- 2
Chrome asks you to allow that site. Select Allow.
- 3
You can also select Use this site while you are on a page you want FreeAML to read.
The list is saved to your account, so it follows you when you sign in on another browser. Remove a site in the extension when you no longer want FreeAML there. FreeAML reads a page only while you are signed in and the site is allowed.
Status icons
On an allowed page, each email address in the text, and each mailto link, shows a small icon to the left:
- Green tick: Verified
- Amber clock: In progress
- Grey dash: No verification yet
- Red cross: Rejected, declined, or expired
Hover the icon for the check type (KYC or KYB), reference, role, the date it was sent, the completed date, and who sent it. Open the check in FreeAML from the card. If there is no verification yet, the card says so.
FreeAML skips boxes you can type in, so it does not change a form you are editing.
Send a verification
- 1
Hover the icon and select Send verification. You can also use Quick send in the toolbar.
- 2
Add a reference if you want one, and an optional role.
- 3
Your client pays by default. They choose KYC or KYB on the link. You can add a service charge of $0, $25, $50, or $100 for this check only. There is no saved default. The choice starts at $0 each time you open the form.
- 4
If your workspace pays, choose KYC or KYB. There is no service charge on that check.
- 5
Select Confirm, then Send.
Your client enters their own details. After you send, the icon changes to In progress.
Sign out
Sign out revokes the connection on this browser. Sign out everywhere revokes every extension connection for this workspace. You can sign in again with a new email code.
Does FreeAML read every site I open?
No. It runs only on sites you allow, and only while you are signed in.
Is the service charge remembered?
No. There is no saved default. You choose $0, $25, $50, or $100 for that check only.
