Payouts and billing

Buy credits

The credit packs are $1000 of credit for $950, and $2000 of credit for $1800. I'll pay uses the balance before the card on file.

Updated 6 October 2026

Credits are a prepaid balance for I'll pay verifications. The page subtitle says I'll pay uses this balance first, then the card on file. On a team, the subtitle names the team and says the same thing.

There are two packs. You pay less than the credit you receive.

Credits page with the $1000 credit pack for $950 and the $2000 credit pack for $1800
Pay $950 to add $1000, or pay $1800 to add $2000. Those are the only packs.

Buy a pack

  1. 1

    Open Credits.

  2. 2

    Choose a pack:

- $1000 credit pack. The button is Pay $950. The note says $1000.00 is added to this balance. - $2000 credit pack. The button is Pay $1800. The note says $2000.00 is added to this balance.

  1. 1

Select the pay button. It reads Opening checkout… while checkout opens.

  2. 2

Finish payment. When you return, a notice says Payment received and names the amount added to your FreeAML credit balance.

If you are on a team and cannot buy, the button reads Owner or compliance officer and stays disabled. Card on file can also say You do not have permission to buy packs or update this card.

How the balance is spent

I'll pay uses Available balance first. If the balance is not enough, the Card on file is charged. Add card, Update card, and Remove card manage that card. The button reads Working… while a change is saved.

Client pays does not spend this balance. Your client pays on their own link.

Recent activity can show Spent on verification, Credit held, Hold released, Credit pack, and similar lines. A promo code and referral reward can also add credit. Those are separate from the two packs.

Do credits pay for a client-pays check?

No. Credits and the card on file are for I'll pay. Client pays charges your client.

Can Staff buy a pack?

The button stays disabled unless your role can manage billing. It then reads Owner or compliance officer.
