Read your notifications

The bell at the top right lists completed checks, payments, owner invites, and monitoring alerts. Open an item to mark it read.

Updated 6 October 2026

Notifications stay in the bell at the top right. There is no separate notifications page. The button is named Notifications, or Notifications with an unread count. The badge stops at 9+.

Notification bell open with an AML monitoring alert and a completed check
Select an item to open it. Mark all read clears the badge.

Use the bell

  1. 1

Select the bell at the top right of any page in the app.

  2. 2

    Read the list under Notifications.

  3. 3

Select an item. It is marked read and, when it points at a verification or another page in the app, that page opens.

  4. 4

Select Mark all read to clear the badge without opening each item.

  5. 5

Use Newer and Older if the list is longer than one page.

If the list is empty you see No notifications yet. Completed checks, payments, and owner invites show up here.

If the list fails to load you see Couldn't load notifications and Try again.

What shows up

Titles you can receive include:

  • Verification complete, failed, declined, sent, or a reminder
  • Client paid
  • Trust deed received and Trust parties identified
  • AML monitoring alert
  • Verification link resent
  • Beneficial owner invited, Beneficial owner checks started, and Beneficial owners to review

An AML monitoring alert means a completed check has a new possible match. Open it and follow Review a monitoring alert. The verification stays complete.

Can I turn notification emails off?

The bell does not have a settings panel. Your contact on Settings is the address used for notifications.

I dismissed an alert. Is the check still complete?

Yes. Marking a monitoring alert read does not change the verification status.
