easyAML reviews: an easyAML review of the published plans

These easyAML reviews look at the plan easyAML publishes for Australian firms. An easyAML review of the card starts with Starter at $179 a month +GST, then $20 +GST for KYC and $40 +GST for KYB. FreeAML has no subscription: the client pays $20 for KYC or $40 for KYB, so the firm's cost for that check can be $0.

Quick answer

easyAML is a monthly AML platform with three published plans. Starter, labelled for small offices, is $179 a month +GST, then $20 +GST per KYC check and $40 +GST per KYB check. FreeAML has no subscription. The client pays $20 for KYC or $40 for KYB, so the firm's cost for that check can be $0.

This summary uses each vendor's published information as of October 2026.

An easyAML review of the plan card

easyAML sells the platform as a monthly plan plus verifications. The pricing page says setup is $0, and that GST is extra wherever the card says +GST. Starter is pay per use, with no verification credit. Professional and Enterprise include a monthly credit that rolls over. Confirm the live page before you sign, because plan prices move. The same dollars are set out on easyAML pricing in Australia, and product fit is on FreeAML vs easyAML.

The pricing questions on that page say Starter includes no verifications, so every Starter check is billed on its own. Professional starts with $220 of monthly credit and Enterprise with $440. Unused credit on those two plans carries forward. Starter has no credit to roll. The same FAQ says the plan covers the platform and that verification fees sit on top.

Who easyAML says each plan is for

Use easyAML's own labels. Starter is described for small offices: up to 5 supported AML users, one included entity, a full AML/CTF program, and training and onboarding listed at no extra setup fee. Professional is described for growing teams: up to 25 users, two entities, a dedicated account manager, and white-labelling. Enterprise is described for larger firms: unlimited users, three included entities, then $49 a month per extra entity, and white-labelling. If your headcount, entity count, or matter volume sits outside the label, ask which plan the order form will use.

What to ask easyAML before you sign

  • GST. The cards say +GST. $179 a month is the price before that tax.
  • The term. The plan section says billing is monthly and that you can upgrade or downgrade. The FAQ says the subscription is 12 months, not month to month, with the price locked for that term. Ask which sentence the order form uses.
  • Seats and checks. On Starter every KYC and KYB is extra. On the higher plans you draw the credit down, then pay the additional rate.
  • Entities. One, two, or three are included depending on the plan. Enterprise publishes $49 a month for each entity after three.
  • How deep a KYB goes. The KYB unit-price note says a Starter KYB is $40 +GST and a Professional or Enterprise KYB is $35 +GST, that each ownership layer is a separate KYB, and that each natural person at the end of the chain is a separate KYC. The pricing FAQ describes a KYC check as document verification, a biometric face match with liveness, Australian source data, PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening, and an audit trail, and it still marks the final bundling of that check as unconfirmed. Ask which document the order form follows.

How FreeAML works beside that card

FreeAML does not sell a monthly AML seat. There is no subscription. The firm emails the client a link, and the client pays $20 for KYC or $40 for KYB. When the client pays, the firm's cash outlay for that check can be $0. The firm can add an optional service charge. Program, risk assessment, and staff training tools are included with no subscription. Current amounts, listed as GST inclusive, are on FreeAML pricing. There is no monthly credit to use up and no published minimum number of checks.

A subscription can suit a firm that wants seats, credit, and a named account manager in one login. A client-pays check suits a firm whose quiet months would still carry a seat fee. Tranche 2 obligations sit on the firm either way. Volume, GST, rolled credit, and the contract term all move the total. Platforms people place next to easyAML are on easyAML vs alternatives, and the wider table is AML software comparison.
