What AMLHUB publishes about price, and what it does not
AMLHUB does not publish a public price for Australia. On 5 October 2026 the pages at amlhub.com.au asked firms to request a proposal. The terms say the fee is the one in that proposal, it is exclusive of GST, and AMLHUB may change it with at least 30 days' written notice.
Quick answer
There is no public AMLHUB price list to quote. Ask them for a written proposal, read the GST and the notice period, and compare that document with a pay-per-check list price. Do not treat a third party's blog as AMLHUB's price.
People search “how much does AMLHUB cost in Australia” because they want a number before they book a call. Checked against AMLHUB's terms and AMLHUB's webinar summary on meeting AUSTRAC requirements on 5 October 2026. This is general information, not legal advice. This page does not reproduce that guidance. What a firm spends in total is a different article, how much AML compliance costs. The check itself is priced on what an AML check costs in Australia. How to choose a tool is which AML software suits an Australian firm. The sector map is /tranche-2.
What the public pages actually say
A firm that wants a number before a demo will not find one on the AMLHUB pages read for this article. The homepage and the solutions page describe software, training and outsourcing, then invite the reader to talk about a fit for the business. That is a sales process. It matches what AMLHUB wrote on the webinar summary: cost depends on the number of annual transactions and the level of support, and the product is a monthly subscription rather than a large upfront payment. They tell sole traders to get in touch for a proposal. None of that is a rate card.
The terms are more precise than the marketing pages, and they still do not name a dollar amount. Section 6 says you pay the fees in accordance with the payment terms. All fees are exclusive of GST. AMLHUB may increase or change the fees by giving at least 30 days' notice in writing. If you do not want to pay the increased fees, you may terminate, on no less than 5 days' notice, provided they receive that notice before the increase takes effect. If you do not terminate, you are treated as having accepted the new fees. Termination fees apply to the subscription from the termination date to the end of the contract term stated in the proposal. If you want them to keep your data after termination, the terms say a fee applies for that retention.
Those clauses answer a different question from “what is the price”. They tell you the price is contractual, that GST sits on top, that the number can move, and that leaving early can cost the rest of the term. A sole practitioner comparing products should ask for the proposal in writing before treating any of this as cheap, dear, or comparable with a per-check fee. This page does not rank AMLHUB. It records what their own site would and would not say on the day it was read.
A figure you should not borrow from someone else
Other vendors write about the market. One of them has said, on its own blog, that AMLHUB starts at a particular monthly amount. That sentence is not on amlhub.com.au. This page does not adopt it. A competitor's description of a rival's price is a claim about the rival, and it can be out of date the day it is published. If you need AMLHUB's price, the document that matters is the proposal AMLHUB issues to you, read against the terms above.
AMLHUB did publish one dollar range, and it is easy to misread. On the same webinar summary they said independent audits cannot be done by the provider that built the program, and that audit costs vary but can typically range around $3,000 to $50,000 or more, depending on the size and complexity of the business. Quote that only as their comment on audit cost. It is not the subscription. It is not a quote for your firm. A range that wide is a warning to ask what your own review would cost, not a number to put in a budget as if it were a fee schedule.
How to compare a proposal with a list price
- Ask what the monthly fee includes. Program drafting, training, identity checks, screening, and lodging reports are different jobs. A subscription that bundles them is not the same product as a check the client pays for.
- Ask who pays the check. Some models bill the firm per verification. Some include a bundle and then charge extras. On FreeAML the client pays the check.
- Read the GST line. AMLHUB's terms say fees are exclusive of GST. A headline that hides the tax is not comparable with a tax-inclusive list until you do the arithmetic yourself.
- Read the exit. Thirty days' notice of a rise, and termination fees through to the end of the term in the proposal, change the real cost of a short trial.
- Do not use a blog as the quote. A sentence on another company's website is not AMLHUB's proposal.
What can be compared on 5 October 2026, and what cannot. This table does not reproduce AMLHUB's terms.
| Question | AMLHUB's public pages | A list price you can open |
|---|---|---|
| Dollar amount for the software | Not published. It sits in the proposal. | Stated on the pricing page. |
| GST | Terms say fees are exclusive of GST. | Read the pricing page before you assume. |
| How the fee moves | At least 30 days' written notice of a change. | No subscription to revise. |
| Leaving early | Termination fees can run to the end of the term in the proposal. | You pay for a check when a check is run. |
| Audit cost | Their webinar gives a wide range for independent audits, not for the subscription. | An audit is a separate engagement either way. |
What a small firm should put in the email
If you still want an AMLHUB number, ask for it in a form you can file. How many transactions they assumed. Which services are in the monthly fee and which are extra. Whether identity checks are included, capped, or billed one by one. The contract term. What termination costs before that term ends. Whether GST is on top, which their terms say it is. What happens to your records if you leave, including any retention fee. A proposal that will not answer those points is not yet something you can compare with a pay-per-check price.
Where this page stops
This page is the public-price gap. It is not a review of AMLHUB's software, and it is not a recommendation to buy or to avoid. Choosing among tools already on the market is covered in which AML software suits an Australian firm.
What the client pays
On FreeAML the firm suite is A$0. The firm emails the client a link. Verification is client-pays. On the public list a personal KYC check is A$20 and a company or trust KYB check is A$40. There is no subscription. Confirm the live amounts on FreeAML pricing. FreeAML does not sell an AMLHUB subscription and does not quote an AMLHUB fee. A customer check is separate from whatever proposal a platform sends you.
