First AML learning curve and risk scoring flexibility: review themes

The review themes attached to First AML are a learning curve and how freely the tool lets you set a risk score. A public review site does not test either one on your files.

Quick answer

Sit a non-specialist on a company file and see if they can finish without a call, then see if your program's risk ratings can be entered or the tool forces another scale. Do not adopt a public average, and do not treat a thin set of reviews as Australian evidence. The firm suite is A$0 and the client pays the check. The program stays yours.

People search β€œFirst AML G2 learning curve” when a buyer has read that First AML has a learning curve and flexible risk scoring, and wants to know what to test. Checked against AUSTRAC's page on assigning customer risk ratings on 4 October 2026. This is general information, not legal advice. This page does not reproduce that guidance. A wider alternative note is a First AML alternative. The sector map is /tranche-2.

Test the theme on a file you know

First AML G2 learning curve is a buying phrase, not a measurement this page will repeat. Public reviews are thin on how an Australian two-partner firm actually works, and the themes the search names are still testable. Ask whether a non-specialist can finish a company file without a call. Ask whether your program's risk ratings can be entered, or the product insists on its own scale.

This page does not reproduce reviews and it does not publish a score. Price talk inside a review is a prompt to read a current order form, on the pricing page that already exists. It is not FreeAML's list price, and it is not a number this article will invent.

  • Time a real file. A company customer, not a demo person, shows the learning curve. A tour does not.
  • Bring your ratings. If the program says low, medium, and high on your terms, see whether those terms fit. A forced scale is a program change, which the firm would have to approve.
  • Ignore the average. A thin public set cannot stand in for your matters. Do not treat it as Australian evidence.
  • Separate price from fit. What a tool costs is a different article. Flexibility does not answer it, and a review paragraph does not either.

Where the review-theme page stops

This page is what to test. It is not a price sheet. Published pricing notes sit on First AML pricing. This page does not score a product and it does not set your customer risk ratings.

What the client pays

On FreeAML the firm suite is A$0. The firm emails the client a link. Verification is client-pays. On the public list a personal KYC check is A$20 and a company or trust KYB check is A$40. Use KYB when the customer is a company or a trust. A walk-through of someone else's risk scale is not included in the firm suite. Confirm the live amounts on FreeAML pricing. FreeAML does not set your customer risk ratings, or confirm that a public review is evidence for your firm.
